We’re Hiring!
Not All Lawn Care Companies Are Created Equal
If you're already in the green industry, you know the drill. Some companies treat crew members like disposable equipment. Others promise growth but never deliver. Many can't seem to figure out consistent scheduling to save their lives.
We get it. Because we used to work for those companies too.
At Wake Pro, we built something different—a lawn care company where showing up and doing great work actually leads somewhere. Where your weekends are protected. Where "benefits" means more than a handshake and a paycheck.
Why Our Crew Stays (And Keeps Growing)
Predictable Hours. Actually.
Monday-Friday, 35-45 hours/week, year-round
No weekend work (yes, really—your Saturdays and Sundays are yours)
Consistent scheduling you can actually plan your life around
Overtime when available—and you'll actually get paid for it
Real Benefits, Not Lip Service
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with company matching (because your future matters)
Paid holidays and PTO (take time off without the guilt trip)
Professional development and education opportunities
A Clear Path Forward
We're growing fast, and we promote from within. Period. Crew members who master their craft and show leadership become crew leaders. Crew leaders who excel become supervisors. It's not rocket science—it's just a company that actually means it when they say "advancement opportunities."
The Work (You Know the Drill, But Here's Our Spin)
You'll handle the full spectrum of lawn maintenance and landscape services:
Daily Operations:
Residential mowing and trimming (quality equipment, properly maintained)
Shrub trimming and pruning
Debris removal and leaf cleanup
Mulch and pine straw installation
Seasonal & Project Work:
Aeration and seeding
Plant installation and removal
Sod installation
Drainage solutions
Various landscape installations and enhancements
The Equipment: You'll work with commercial-grade gear that's actually taken care of. No jerry-rigged machines held together with duct tape and prayers. We invest in proper equipment because we respect the people using it.
What We're Looking For
The Technical Stuff:
Experience with commercial mowing and trimming equipment
Valid NC driver's license (clean record)
Comfortable driving trucks and trailers
Respect for equipment and materials
The Character Stuff (This Is What Really Matters):
Eye for detail - You notice when something's off and fix it before being asked
Proactive mindset - You spot issues, communicate them, and help solve them
Team player with leadership potential - You work well with others but can step up when needed
Dependable and organized - You show up, stay focused, and work smart
Pride in craftsmanship - The finished job matters to you
Safety-conscious - Always
We provide paid training to fill in any gaps. If you've got the attitude and baseline skills, we'll develop the rest.
The Non-Negotiables
Three things we absolutely need:
Punctuality - Your crew counts on you
Positive attitude - We spend too much time together for negativity
Professionalism - With the team and with clients
What Sets Wake Pro Apart From Your Current Gig
Let's talk straight: if you're already doing lawn care, you've probably dealt with some combination of these headaches:
❌ Weekend work that kills your personal life
❌ No benefits or minimal coverage
❌ Broken equipment you're expected to make work anyway
❌ "Advancement" that never materializes
❌ Schedules that change on a whim
❌ No support or training
Here's what you get instead:
✅ Protected weekends - Every single one
✅ Full benefits package - Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
✅ Quality equipment - Maintained properly, replaced when needed
✅ Real growth opportunities - We're expanding and need leaders
✅ Stable schedule - Monday-Friday, planned in advance
✅ Ongoing training - We invest in developing your skills
The Money Talk
Hourly Rate: $16-25/hour (based on experience and skills, regular raises based on performance)
Overtime: Available and actually paid
Full-Time: 35-45 hours/week, year-round work
Plus all the benefits mentioned above. This is a real career position, not a seasonal hustle.
